About Alissa Betz

I have had a passion for art ever since I was little. Nothing makes me happier than creating something that makes other people smile.

I was born in Fargo, ND but grew up in Bismarck, ND. I graduated high school in 2016 at Century in Bismarck. I then attended a year at Bismarck State College for Graphic Design. I then transferred to Gillette College in Gillette, Wyoming for two years where I received an Associates degree in Business. While attending my time at Gillette College I continued my soccer career. After my two years in Wyoming, I transferred to my final college at Dakota Wesleyan University in Mitchell, South Dakota where I received a Bachelors degree in Graphic Design and a concentration in Web Page Design. I also continued soccer at Dakota Wesleyan University.

Growing up I kind of knew I was going to do something with art but wasn’t quite sure what it was specifically. In my early high school years I tried to venture from it to expose myself to other career options. However, after numerous job surveys, I knew that there was no way I could possibly do anything other than art. I took Graphic Design classes in high school and instantly found what I could do for a career. I had other subjects that I enjoyed too, which was History and English. But, my all time favorite was art and I made sure to take every art class I could. Throughout all my years of schooling I learned Motion-Video, Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, Illustrator, InDesign, LightRoom, Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Adobe Acrobat, and Adobe Spark.
